Overview
The Watchlists page lets you create and manage company watchlists and keyword alert monitors. Company watchlists group companies together for quick access and filing/news alerts. Keyword alerts (a Pro feature) monitor filings for specific terms or phrases and notify you when matches are found.
Watchlists are deeply integrated across the platform — the Filings page has a "Watchlist only" toggle, the Red Flags detail modal lets you add companies to watchlists, and the Dashboard shows your watchlists prominently. Building well-organised watchlists is one of the most impactful things you can do to streamline your daily workflow.
What you can do
Company Watchlists
- Two-tab layout: Company Watchlists and Keyword Alerts (with count badges on each tab)
- Watchlist cards: grid showing list name, company count, and description — click to manage
- Create dialog: simple name input to get started
- Detail page: add/remove companies, view recent filings, and configure alert settings
Keyword Alerts
- Keyword Alerts (Pro): create monitors for specific terms or phrases in filings
- Match modes: Exact Phrase or Any Word — control how strictly the alert triggers
Tips
- ▸Create separate watchlists for different themes (e.g. "Earnings Season", "Short Targets", "New Positions") to stay organised
- ▸Use the "Watchlist only" toggle on the Filings page to restrict your view to watchlist companies — saves significant time during earnings season
- ▸Keyword alerts are powerful for monitoring specific disclosures — e.g. set one for "going concern" to catch early warnings
- ▸Use "Exact Phrase" match mode for precise legal/accounting terms, and "Any Word" for broader topic monitoring
