Overview
The Workspace is a full-screen infinite canvas for deep, multi-panel research. Arrange panels freely — filing viewers, entity graphs, deep research, company profiles, notes, comparisons, timelines, and more — then save and reload the entire layout at any time.
An AI chat assistant is accessible from a floating drawer, letting you ask contextual questions while you work. The template system lets you jumpstart common workflows instead of building from scratch every time. Workspaces can be exported as JSON (for re-import) or Markdown (for sharing), making it easy to collaborate with colleagues who may not have Bollwerk access.
How it works
Canvas Layout
An infinite canvas with draggable, resizable panels. A saved-workspaces sidebar on the left, a floating AI assistant on the right, and overlay controls for saving and adding panels.

Add any combination of these panels to your canvas via the toolbar.

Start from a pre-configured layout or build your own from scratch.
What you can do
Canvas & Panels
- Free-form canvas: drag, resize, and arrange any number of panels across the viewport
- Panel types: Search, Filing Viewer, Entity Graph, Deep Research, Company Profile, Notes, Risk Summary, Comparison, Timeline, and File Upload
- Collapsible left sidebar: lists all saved workspaces for the current research session
- Floating AI Chat Drawer: toggled from the toolbar for real-time queries while you work
- Template system: start from pre-built templates that populate panels automatically
Save & Share
- Save / Save As: dirty-state detection — the browser warns you before navigating away with unsaved changes
- Workspace dropdown: New, Load, Save, Rename, Export as JSON, Export as Markdown, Import from JSON
- Export as Markdown: share research with colleagues who do not have Bollwerk access

- ▸Import a previously exported JSON workspace to restore exact panel layouts
- ▸Open the AI Chat Drawer to ask contextual questions while viewing filings — it sees your active research
